I haven’t been here for some time, it’s probably because during the lock-down I haven’t done very much so not had much to say. My routine has been very, very routine. Get up, don’t go out, do things indoors then go back to bed.
Although everywhere has been dark, I think there is now a light at the end of the tunnel (and hopefully it’s not a train coming).
So I think gigs are coming back soon!
One thing I have been doing, since the very first week of lockdown (and will continue doing at least for a couple of weeks), in my “Human Jukebox” guise I have been performing a “Live in your living room Wednesday night gig” . It’s like the pre-lockdown Wednesday night Brokers Wine bar Human Jukebox gig but a bit different.
Pros
You don’t have to leave home.
The booze is cheaper
You don’t have to walk up stairs
You don’t have to shout out songs
Cons
You’ve probably been stuck in for weeks
You have to go to the supermarket
You don’t get waited on
You need to be able to write
There are probably lots more that could be filled in on both columns however this morning I have a short attention span and have got bored of doing that bit.
